Stacey and Scott’s wedding was full of energy and life, Stacey was a stunning bride

Their wedding ceremony was held at Matilda Bay Reserve, along the foreshore.  We were very lucky as the rain started to come down gently just after their wedding ceremony finished.

Following their wedding ceremony we headed over to East Perth for our photo shoot.  We were very lucky to get the amazing sunset that we got.

Wedding reception was held at The Royal Freshwater Yacht Club, and as usual the team there excelled in service and quality of food.

Wedding in Australind (Bunbury)

Recently I covered Chelsea and Nick’s wedding, which was held in Australind. Australind is south of Perth and very close to Bunbury.

I really like this image of Chelsea just having a break on her mum’s bed and adjusting her wedding dress just before we walk out the door to go to their wedding ceremony. I think from memory, Chelsea’s brides maid had gone downs stairs of something, so she had some time to herself.

Also, for all who know me, I love my reflections and also shooting through different things, in this instance shooting through some hanging beads in the doorway. I also did a bit of post production work in Photoshop with this image.

Chelsea’s wedding dress was just stunning. I’ll upload their gallery soon, but wanted to share this image first up.

Wedding Dress with Style

Erin who was my bride on the day named her wedding dress “Ronda”, yes her wedding dress had personality and style. The wedding dress was just beautiful, it was hand crafted especially for Erin.

I really wanted to show the dress off. It was truly amazing. it had a lot of detail put into it and it fit Erin perfectly.

This photo of her wedding dress is as shot, with some minor contrast adjustment and framing.

This same photo as above of Erin’s wedding dress has had a fair amount of work done to it, in particular, contrast, added black. Also, it needs to be noted, that when I shot this image, I also added some artificial light to her face as I knew what I wanted to do with this image.  There is an open window that she is facing, but I had to add light to her face ensure that the wedding dress does not blow out.  It’s hard to photograph a wedding dress in its entirety, that is naturally unless you have a mirror handy. I was lucky that there was a stylish mirror handy, so I used it, and this is the result.
