Lauren and Michael’s Wedding Slideshow

Lauren and Michael’s wedding in Perth. Here are some of their wedding photos in a slideshow format.

We had a fantastic day which started at The Melbourne Hotel in Perth City followed by their wedding ceremony at Subiaco Common gardens, which was conducted by Michael’s Auntie and added a very personal touch.  Photo shoot started out in Subiaco and then followed to King street in Perth City where we featured their wedding limo. The red Model T always looks great as a wedding car backdrop, you’ll agree that the contrast of the car, buildings and wedding dress goes well – I’ve done some Photoshop treatment on those images to bring out the important aspects of the photo.

When we got to their wedding reception location – Mount Lawley Golf Club, we had some time so we utilised it with an additional shoot on the golf course.

Wedding reception was fabulous, the staff are great and food exceptional.  Wedding cake, being a cup cake tier was a blast, it’s a modern way to get pieces of cake onto tables and they look great.

Caversham House Wedding

I thought I’d share a wedding that was photographed in Perth, at Caversham House.  As a wedding photographer in Perth, I get the opportunity to visit many reception venues and see how amazing they are, Caversham House is one of them. This video from Edyta and Dion’s wedding is great. I put together a slide show of photos to music from their wedding day.

I was with the couple from the morning with the groom and groom’s men getting ready, then over to the bride with her bride’s maids followed by the ceremony at Caversham and naturally their wedding photos plus reception there too.

Caversham House is great from the aspect of the grand stair case as an entry for the bride as well as a great setting for the group shot and family formals.

In addition to the amazing gardens Caversham House has an exceptional inside decor too. So shooting wedding photos.

Here is a wedding slideshow from one of my Caversham House weddings.

You can also click on this following Caversham House slideshow on the YouTube website.

As you can see there was some rain, and there is some water on the ground, but that only came down after the wedding ceremony.  And the rain actually worked in our favour as it created a great mood and reflections on the ground. I love it when it rains at weddings as we can bring out the umbrellas and use them as props.  I’ve got 100% success rate at the moment with no rain at a ceremony, but we have been close as this one time it started to rain just as the ceremony finished.

Anyhow, Caversham House is one of my most favourite places for wedding photography as it has a wide variety of locations for photos and even if it does rain you can still get good coverage.

Hillary’s Yacht Club Wedding

Here are some photos from a wedding we did at Hillary’s Yacht Club.

Weather was fantastic.  We shot at three locations on the day, which was great, and it gave us a good spread of photos to select from for their wedding album.

Hillary’s Yacht Club has had a full make over this year, and the location is fantastic for wedding ceremonies by the water as well as wedding receptions upstairs.  They can hold a lot of people, so even if you have a large wedding, I’m sure you can be accommodated.

Bridesmaid’s – Different Effect Wedding Photos

I thought I’d share 4 of the same wedding photo but with a different effect applied on it in Photoshop.  Naturally for the wedding album, something different may be applied, but in general our bride will get a choice and we’ll include which ever photo she likes.

This was wedding I shot in Moore River on a private property, which was an amazing day, the weather was fantastic, we shot inside a very old cottage, by the river on a paddock with a bull (yep, a bull).  We had loads of fun with a bridal party of 10.  Both April and Dan are amazing people and perfectly matched.

Here is a wedding photo of the brides maids – as shot with only minor adjustments:

All of these wedding photos were shot in sequence one after another, so they are all a little different, giving our bride a choice of poses.
