Wedding Limo Reflection of bridal couple

When I covered Amber and Jason’s wedding at Caversham House, I saw their reflection in one of the panels of the car, this gave me the idea to go one step further and ended up polishing up the light at on car. It was already clean but not 100% to give me the reflection that I wanted.

With a bit of technical application I got this pretty cool photo.  I have done some more work to the image in Photoshop, but I had to.

Henna Painting for Hindu Wedding Ceremony

I’ve got an absolute privilege to cover a wedding for Anna and Siva. They will have both a Hindu Wedding Ceremony in the morning followed by a White Dress Church Wedding Ceremony in the afternoon.

This week Anna and the other girls in the wedding party had Henna Painting done on their hands and feet.  This tradition is very important of any Hindu Wedding Ceremony.

Here are a few pictures of the Henna Painting:

Emotions Created by Photo Effects in Photoshop

From one my recent weddings in Perth where I photographed Michelle and Trevor I took this interesting shot of them in the mirror at City West Receptions which is a wedding venue in Perth, located just outside the city in the City West Building – Perth

I had a brief moment of time before the guests arrived at the wedding reception. So I utilised it and shot this image in the reflection. It was pretty funny as they and their bridal party were all standing there having their pre-reception food and drinks, I quickly asked the bridal party to walk away out of my reflection in the mirror and got this shot. I just had to have it.  Needless to say that the bride – Michelle was wrapped with this image, although was a bit confused in what I wanted to capture as she didn’t see what my vision was on the day.

I was very lucky with Michelle and Trevor as they gave be full creative freedom on their wedding day. As their wedding photographer, I spent a fair amount of time prior to the day showing them how I shoot and what I do, so they fully trusted me and my vision with their wedding photos, an in turn their final wedding album.

I won’t get into the technicals of what I did in Photoshop and the technique I used, but I wanted to share these 5 images to show you the different emotions and feeling each one of these wedding photos creates.

The original wedding photo that I took with some minor adjustments

De-saturated the image some more, added more darkness to it.
