Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot with Maria & Massimo

A Pre-Wedding photo shoot plays an important part of our coverage. When we do a pre-wedding photo shoot, we establish locations for your wedding day. So we can shoot in 3 or 4 locations and work out which ones are the best ones for your wedding day. Also, should something not work out on your wedding day, we can always have another option on the day, so this will make things easier for you as you’d be familiar with the potential outcomes.

This is also a great way to get to know each better.  Knowing each other will mean that we can be very close to you and know if you like particular photos taken of you or not, work out what you like and what you don’t like.  Your wedding day is a sequence of extraordinary events, and things may shift on the day, having your photo locations worked out beforehand makes things easier on your wedding day.

Here’s an example of some photos from a pre-wedding photo shoot at Hyde Park, (Perth) of Maria and Massimo.

Groom getting ready photo – Before and After

I thought I’d show a before and after of a shoot. There will be plenty more in the future.

I shot this photo at Burswood Casino, in one of the rooms where the boys were getting ready. I really wanted to show the groom going through a thought process before the wedding.  Naturally the thoughts were “how amazing will my bride look as she walks down the isle”, [what else]?

and then once I did some work on the image in Photoshop.  you’ll see that the work isn’t major, but enough to make the image pop and look great. Adding the photo frame also adds a bit of character to the Groom’s photo.

So the major change in this photo is:

i) skin tones
ii) vignetting around the edges
iii) photo border

Karri Valley Resort Wedding Photos

I had the absolute privilege to photograph Jade and Heath’s wedding. They decided to have their wedding reception at Karri Valley Resort, so everyone had a holiday at the same time.  The day started with a breakfast at the river for all the boys, then just continued as per normal wedding day, but in an exotic location.

These 2 love birds were so much in love that it’s not funny. There is no doubt that these 2 are a couple that will be walking down the beach at 80 odd holding hands and having a kiss.

I did a vide from their wedding photos.  Beautiful music in this clip is from is Lykke Li & Lou Rhodes.

Wedding Ceremony: Pemberton Church

Wedding Reception: Karri Valley Resort

The Karri Valley Resort was aswesme, I wish I had more time to stay down there to enjoy teh views and the location. Naturally the tall trees are breathtaking just as the lake is at the resort. The lake was absolutely still.  Take a look at the photos at the end that I took at night time.

We did a photo shoot near Karri Valley Resort at a suspended bridge, this also set an amazing setting. Even on the way out, we stopped and did a shoot in the middle of the road, the trees down there just need to be appreciated.

This is a wedding that all the guests will not foget.  One the guests even managed to cartch a fish from his lake cabin’s balcony.

A beautiful kiss

Michelle and Murray we married at Caversham House (Swan Valley).  With their reception at Ascot Quays, it created an easy path to East Perth for their pro wedding photo shoot. We had a lot of fun and also included a Yayga Bomb shooter session at the Royal Hotel.

One of my favourite images was of them kissing at a wall.
